The highlight of the 7th edition of the Forst Christmas Forest will be the culinary delights created by Gardena chef Norbert Kostner. The legendary South Tyrolean chef, who has been Executive Chef at the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok Hotel for over 40 years, will treat guests at Birra FORST’s Temporary Restaurant Felsenkeller from 20 November 2019 to 6 January 2020 with exclusive culinary specialties from Thai cuisine.
Extraordinary creations and authentic culinary delights will once again amaze guests at the Temporary Restaurant Felsenkeller, which will exclusively open its doors for six weeks over the Christmas period. The legendary South Tyrolean Executive Chef of the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok Hotel, Norbert Kostner, will be delighting his guests with exclusive culinary specialties from Thai cuisine, bringing a touch of the East to South Tyrol. After the great success of last year’s charity gala, during which Norbert Kostner cooked for over 100 guests, this year, for the entire Christmas period, the South Tyrolean chef will expertly combine FORST beer specialties with his dishes across three different menus, ranging from a green mango salad with Thai herbs, prawns or a lamb stew with basil and green beans to tapioca balls and rice flour pearls simmered in warm coconut milk. Norbert Kostner’s cuisine ranges from mild flavours to spicy dishes, for everything the taste buds could wish for.
