With a large dose of ambition and dedication, last year Birra FORST once again demonstrated its great commitment to charity, managing to exceed the money raised in recent years by a considerable margin.
Thanks to the sixth edition of the Christmas Forest, an evening with Eastern-inspired nativity scenes combined with a gala dinner and numerous initiatives held throughout 2018, the considerable sum of €167,229.81 was raised to help people in need in South Tyrol. As in previous years, the Christmas Forest was a great success. In addition to a wide range of culinary delights and a variety of entertainment, Birra FORST also organised numerous charitable initiatives. One of the highlights of last year's event was a charity gala in an Eastern-inspired atmosphere with over 100 participants and friends from the world of business, politics, entertainment and sport.
During this evening of Eastern-style nativities, which included the customary charity auction with exclusive prizes, more than €125,000 were raised. "A big thank you goes to all the guests, who contributed €1,000 each to this extraordinary success by attending the Eastern-inspired nativity scene evening," emphasized Cellina von Mannstein.
However, Birra FORST's commitment went far beyond the Christmas period. Throughout the year, donations were collected for the non-profit organization 'L'Alto Adige aiuta' thanks to various initiatives: from guided tours of the brewery to the sale of premium 2-litre bottles of Christmas beer, to a summer charity evening at Brasserie 1857, and much more. The fundraiser was also supported by numerous friends and partners of Birra FORST. In total, Birra FORST collected and donated €167,229.81 to the non-profit organization 'L'Alto Adige aiuta' to help people in South Tyrol who are facing an urgent hardship or difficult situation. Cellina von Mannstein is grateful for all this support: "I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our friends, partners and donors for their help. Everyone's contribution has been crucial and only together could we reach this important milestone".
