On Monday, 6 January, Cellina von Mannstein of Birra FORST invited numerous guests for an aperitif in the Beer Lounge and an exclusive gala dinner in the Temporary Restaurant Felsenkeller. During the evening, which was planned and organized by four students from the Kaiserhof hospitality management school for their graduation project in collaboration with Birra FORST, a sum of €12,000 was raised to be donated to three different charities in South Tyrol.
The 7th Forst Christmas Forest ended with a special treat in the Temporary Restaurant Felsenkeller. In cooperation with the Kaiserhof hospitality management school, chef Norbert Kostner displayed his entire culinary repertoire for the last time at this year’s charity gala dinner, serving delicacies from traditional Thai cuisine in combination with FORST beer specialties. During the evening, four students from the Kaiserhof hospitality management school introduced the guests to Thai cuisine, seeking to draw on the knowledge of a master such as Norbert Kostner and to apply this expertise to their future careers. Above all, charity was the central theme of the event.
With the presence of numerous invited guests, including star chefs such as Herbert Hintner and Andrea Fenoglio, the charity gala dinner brought in donations worth a total of €11,000. Thanks to further donations, a total of €12,000 was raised. Cellina von Mannstein was delighted with the friendly and excellent collaboration with the Kaiserhof hospitality management school and is grateful to be able to share this amount between the South Tyrolean charitable organisations Peter Pan (Association for children with cancer), the Südtiroler Kinderdorf cooperative and the South Tyrolean Alzheimer’s Association (ASAA).
